Owner Chuck Douthit discovered his passion for the trade in 1985 as an apprentice with Tar Hill Electric, later sharpening his skills as an industrial electrician at Foamex while studying electrical code at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. His journey continued at Bryant Electric, where years of hard work and hands-on experience deepened his expertise. Passing his electrical licensing exam on the first try was more than just an achievement—it was the moment Chuck knew it was time to follow his passion and build something of his own.

What started with Chuck tackling small electrical jobs out of his Toyota Corolla quickly grew into something much bigger. With every call, he proved himself not only as a skilled, licensed electrician but also as someone with an unwavering work ethic and a genuine commitment to helping people with their electrical needs. Word spread, and before long, Chuck Douthit Electrical Inc. became a trusted name in the Charlotte area.
